A nice evening

I dragged my husband out of the house tonight and we went to Barnes and Noble; our happy place. It was rather odd getting out of the car without children. At one point I had a mild panic attack as we walked away. I thought I forgot a child in the car. hehe Anyway, we spent an hour and a half browsing and then sat for coffee, tea and shared a lemon/raspberry scone. He got a book on blacksmithing and I got **cough cough cough cough.** I really want to read it...Oh, OK. I'll confess. It's embarrassing, but I got a book written about the time Khan Noonien Singh spent exiled on Ceti Alpha V (It's called To Reign in Hell: The Exile of Khan Noonien Singh). There. I said it. Embarrassing indeed. LOL We bought Meghan The Zombie Survival Guide because, well, she should know how to defend herself in case of an attempted zombie take over. I would be deficient in my parenting duties if I didn't see to her education.

Greg got the extractor from a beekeeping friend. Looks like Saturday he'll be harvesting honey. I'll let him tell you all about it. He's so excited and I'm excited for him. He's going to have some very nice sacrifices for Thor.

That's about it. A night of reading and folding laundry. Football, books, tea. Yes, a good day indeed.
